Hi everyone!!  After a long time of thinking, I made my mind and chose to post some pictures related to my project. You will see how the faucets in my school look like, how are the conditions students  are exposed to.

Google Alert - Schools Development

Hi. Here I have another article from the Google Alerts I got this weeks, about new development programs for schools. In this article, the story behind is very encouraging for me and my project.
The US Agricultural Department (USDA) is implementing their new National Program to connect schools in the country with farmers and ranchers. The program is caleld Farm to School and its goal is to provide healthy fresh food coming from local farms and ranches to schools cafeterias in the country. This new projects has a common goal with my project - healthy conditions for students, and is giving me the hope that my project has a chance to be implemented.

Cases Related to Mine

This week I did some researches about different schools developing and I found some stuffs.
Here is an interesting news that came through my Google Alerts about specialists looking for a new develop plan. This is happening in Waterford schools, Connecticut, and they are looking for new ideas to develop schools in their district. This news shows that is possible to change some things in my school, and gave me the hope that my project can become reaity. INTRODUCTION.

     Hi everyone. My name is Adelin Cojan and I am 16 years old. I'm a FLEX exchange student from Moldova, Eastern Europe, and I live in Manchester, New Hampshire, US. 
This first post, it's going to be an introduction to my blog and my ideas, and I'm going to write in both English and Romanian.
So, my first GNML project is for my local school from Colibasi, the school where I have grown-up. I want to make a small, but important change for the future student generations.
The Middle School in my village, it's a big one, with more than 500 students between 11 and 16 years, and the faucets in the school don't provide clean, healthy drinking water for students. This is a big problem, which has to be solved as soon as posible.
My project is about instaling new faucets and a new system of delivering drinking water in the school. The intended audience for this is everyone in the village and not only, who can contribute to my goal, and I hope that the Mayor and the Principal will be the first who will consider and support my idea.

INTRODUCERE.
                                                                                                                      
Salut tuturor. Ma numesc Adelin Cojan si am 16 ani. Sunt student din Moldova, ma aflu in Statele Unite pentru un an de studii, prin programul FLEX, si locuiesc in Manchester, New Hampshire. Prima postare va fi o introducere despre blogul meu, si voi posta in limba Engleza si Romana. 
Eu lucrez in parteneriat cu PH-International, o organizatie American pentru studenti internationali care se afla in Statele Unite. Acest proiect face parte din programul GNML       (Global New Media Lab) si are ca scop implementarea unui proiect pentru rezolvarea unei probleme din comunitatea de unde provenim, si indeplinirea acestui proiect prin intermediul retelelor de socializare ca Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, Blogger. 
Deci, primul meu proiect este pentru scoala din satul natal - Colibasi, unde eu am studiat si am finisat ciclul gimnazial. Eu vreau sa fac o schimbare mica, dar importanta pentru studentii de acum si pentru generatiile urmatoare. 
Gimnaziul din Colibasi este un gimnaziu mare, cu multi studenti, si ca fost-student acolo stiu care sunt problemele cu care se confrunta scoala, precum cea a apei potabile, care nu este curata si sanatoasa in momentul de fata. Aceasta este o problema importanta, care trebuie rezolvata cat mai curand posibil.
Prin acest proiect, eu vreau ca in gimnaziu sa fie instalate noi robinete si un nou sistem de livrare a apei potabile spre aceste robinete. Pentru aceasta fac apel la fiecare locuitor al satului si nu numai, cetateni care pot sa contribuie la scopul meu, si sper ca D-nul Primar - Ion Dolganiuc, si D-nul Director - Ion Eremia, vor fi primii care vor lua in considerare si vor suporta idea mea.
